SAMPLING PROCEDURE

I am new to QM.My client does 100% inspection for both inward and final. What all settings to be done in QM. Any particular area, which i need to take care of?. How is the process flow in case of no sampling being maintained.

Yes,

that setting will be applicable for Plant.

thats why, just have a look at it... if it finds useful to you, can use it.

Dear nandi,

Either you create sampling procedure with 100% sample and maintain that sampling procedure against MICs in task list.

or even if you dont maintain any Sapling procedure, System will take Lot qty as your Sample size.

But, Also check your Plant level settings at

SPRO> IMG> QM> Basic Settings> Plant Level Settings> results>

there you can maintain default sampling procedure in case the sampling procedure has not maintained in task list.

here you can maintain it as per your insp. point also.

hi,

If u set this through SPRO than it will apply on your plant level means on each and every material, where sampling procedure is plant independent so whenevere or for whatever material u want u assign it and process accordingly.

So its better to maintain it via transactional code wise

hi,

Goto QDV1 and create one sampling procedure and select sapling type as 100% than system will ask u the percentage from the lot size , assign it and maintain it in Quality plan agaianst MIC's.
