Pls clarify the following: -

1. Movement type and Inspection type - how related.

2. What is differance among - MB1A, MB1B, MB1C

Hi,

You can get the movement & inspection type relation from spro.

You can refer to this path spro- quality management - quality inspection - inspection lot creation - inspection for goods movement. The details are explained here in the documentation.

Also please refer to this link for the tcodes functionality.

You can define at following path for which movement you need to do inspection.

SPRO- quality management - quality inspection - inspection lot creation - inspection for goods movement.

You can activate or deactivate inspection for each movement type at suggested path. Once you activate inspection and if you have activated inspection type in material master then system will create inspection lot for that movement in system.

MB1A - This transaction is used to do good issue. Ex. Good issue to production order

MB1B - this trx used to do transfer posting - ex, plant to plant transfer or stock transfer from one storage location to another location.

MB1C - this trx is used to do good recipt in system or inventory posting.
