Hi Folks,

I need to much your help.

I changed the parameter Xmx from 3072 to 2048 and I am trying to run the configtool again, it only connects to database.

Is the another way to back out that parameter value?

Thank you so much

Mari

Hello Marilia,

I changed the parameter Xmx from 3072 to 2048.

- Where did you change the parameter value?

Is the another way to back out that parameter value?

- Why you want to back out the value?

Above said parameter max heap parameter value can be changed from instance.properties file at OS level. But could you please clarify above questions before modifying from instance.properties file?

Thanks,

Siva Kumar

There is not error message. Even the Offlinecfgeditor is not working when I try to reach Instance.properties id<number>.

Those tools get stuck

Hi,

You should be able to open configtool even if the parameter value set is incorrect (which is not the case).

Make sure the environment variables are set correctly when you try to open configtool. What do you see when you open configtool ?

You may try changing the parameter value directly from the instance.properties file.

Hope this helps.
