Dear All
Using ItemProcessing-Webservice, FindItemByBasicData only returns values if a Material Revision is used. Although it says "optional", it does not work if left blank, removed, or worst of all with "#", asking for the latest Revision.
I am looking for the Webservice to return the Material Data in its latest Revision but it doesn't. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround other than querying the Database directly?
System is ME 6.0 with all current updates installed.
Thanks for your help!
Stefan,
I really doubt if Revision tag should be optional in this request. Normally, this tag should correspond to the ITEM.REVISION field.
And if so, then # is not an acceptable value for this tag at all, and to implement the feature you need it would be better to add a separate tag corresponding to ITEM.CURRENT_REVISION field.
You'd rather submit a support ticket so that your request will be brought to consideration of Product Mgmt.
Regards,
Sergiy
