SMD: Unable to get "Introscope Agent" web page

Hi All,

I have been trying to get the web page of Introscope Agent. But whenever I click on RCA->Diagnostic Setup->Managed System->Introscope Agent, I simply get the "wheel' ringing for hours and not giving any results. Finally, it gets terminated.

Can anybody help me in identifying the problem and solve it?

HI,

I had some words with SAP on this and they found out that the below RFC connections were timing out;

1. SOLMANDIA

2. WEBADMIN

These RFCs are timing out due to the below error:

==================================
Connection Error
Error when opening an RFC connection
ERROR: timeout during allocate of registered program
LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host myhost.abcd.com / sapgw00
DETAIL: TP WEBADMIN init/busy for more than 60 sec
==================================

Basically, the above RFCs are working with 'Regisered Program" activation type. IT seems that either those programs are not registered on OS level or they unable to be accessed by SAP.

I tested this by executing the below command to register on OS;

rfcexec -a TEST -g <gateway host name> -x sapgw00. Then created a test RFC by providing the "TEST" as the registered program name. It tested successfully.

But I dont know which program these RFCs are calling. Any idea, how to determine the same?

Hi,

Are you able to see the introscope agent status?

and what is your solman version, try to patch the LMSERVICE to latest version and try.

or did you get any logs

Thanks for your kind reply.

As I pointed out, I am unable to go further as the simply it is processing and showing the "Wheel" for a long time and then terminating abruptly. Therefore, I cant even see the introscope agent status.

Where do I get the logs for this activity?
