Supplier self registration in SRM 7.01 EHP1 SP5

Hi SRM Gurus,

We are trying to configure Supplier registration in 7.01.Do we require separate client for supplier registration?

It is understood that webdynpro ABAP application is used for supplier registration from 7.01 EHP1.

We are able to get the supplier self registration screen. And once clicking on SEND button, the following error mssg:

u201COrganizational unit 00000000 does not exist; check your entries,

Error while creating organizational unit; inform system admin.

Error occurred while locking organizational unit 00000000.

We have configured both vendor organization structure as well business organization structure. We are following the SAP document: SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1 Supplier Qualification. Document describes about setting up supplier registration with customizing switch and the other is without customizing switch.

Are we missing configurations anywhere in supplier registration client or EBP client?

Hi,

- Do we require separate client for supplier registration?

This is not mandatory.

- ROS_PRESCREEN and others to Supplier Self Registriation are BSP

- Take a look in this configuration: SAP Supplier Relationship Management ° SRM Server ° Master Data ° Content Management ° Define External Web Services

- See the table BBP_MARKETP_INFO

Documentation talks about two ways for configuring the Supplier registration , with customizing switch and the other is without customizing switch. Which one you have followed here ?

Hello Babu,

I hope you would have followed all the steps mentioned in the config guide under the node Basic Settings for Supplier Qualification with Customizing Switch Supplier Self-Registration.

Ensure that you have configured : SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Settings for Supplier Synchronization -> Information on Automatic Download from Marketplace.

Hi Pedro,

Does the configuration settings and procedure  for Supplier Self Service and Registration is same in SRM 5.0 and SRM 7.01 or do we have any new changes in SRM 7.01???
