ITSMobile - Call Transaction

Hi experts,

I am not familiar with ITS so it maybe a silly question.

I also could not find a solution in web or sap-docu.

How can I realize a Call Transaction in ITSMobile?

I've 2 TAs which I would like to connect via an CallTransaction.

I've created to InternetServices and also 2 SICF Entries.

But when I press the button (on the first ITSMobile site) which executes the CallTransaction I get a dump.

Is it possible with CallTA?

Or do I have to call the InternetService-Url?

If this, how can I call this?

I know i can call a url with FM CALL_BROWSER.

But how do I get the url?

Thx in advance

Hi Christian

What is the dump that you get? Can you copy the main parts of it into the message thread?

What are the settings of the ITSMobile service where you have the ~transaction <my_transaction> set - can review via transaction SICF?

Could it be that you do not have templates for the different screens of that transaction?

Oisin

Hi Oisin,

first, thx for support.

Dump says:

its service <SERVICE TA 1> failed since not template could be found for the screen with number 100 in the program <program of TA2>.

The template was searched in the following its service:

<SERVICE TA1>.

So it seems, it is searching the TA2 of called Transaction in the ITSService of TA1.

Tipps?

Hi Christian,

Do you use the parameter

~sources

See the WIKI:

[Service Parameter and Settings |https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/ServiceParameterand+Settings]

If a desktop browser is displaying the correct template for the screen (look at the view source of the page) - then perhaps the browser of the device could be the issue? Can you give more details on the Device, OS and Browser being used?

Regards,

Oisin

Hi Christian, hi Oisin,

sorry for jumping in your thread, but I do have the same problem.

Maybe I can give more information (out of my actual situation) until Christian is able to response.

Services for both transaction are able to be called alone.

I do have supplied the ~sources parameter to the internet service in SE80 and to the service gui configuration in SICF to both transaction. The ~sources parameters shows on the relating service for each transaction.

But if I call the second transaction from the first the short dump with missing templates occure.

The link to wiki doesn't help me.

Any further ideas?

Greetings

Patrick

Good morning oisin,

1000 thx to you.

The sources was what I had to maintain.

@ Patrick, maybe it also is missing at your IS.

I've only entered in <IS1> the source <IS1<.Now I've entered in sources of <IS1> the sources <IS1>,<IS2>.

So I've maintained the current transaction and also the transaction which I call with "call TA".

It runs.

thx again

Hi Christian,

that's it.

Thanks for your advice. Now it works.
