Profile Directory

Hi All,

I have a requirement to be done that is install SAP PI on distributed environment i.e DATABASE on one host and both SCS and CI on the other Host. I am done with SCS on the global host and when I am doing DBHOST installation on other host it is asking for profile directory. This profile directory has QAS profile in e;/usr/sap/QAS/SYS/profile in QASHOST. So should Igive the profile directory as
QASHOST\usr\sap\QAS\SYS\profile or in that field When I browse it ,how does it show QASHOST e: drive and all.

Can anyone please suggest me and the OS is windows.

Hi Sreeram,

Before installing other instance you should make filesystems /sapmnt/<SID> and /usr/sap/trans shared among different hosts from CI to database instance and other dialog instance.

After doing that you will be able to see the profile directory, whose path you have to give once asked during installation.

Hello Sreeram,

You have to nfs share the profile directory among differnet hosts first,then it will be visible over there.

After that you can pass the path of shared profile directory.
