Hi,

Here are some lines of enquiry for you :

What has happened to this document leading-up to this error ? who changed it ? what did they do exactly ?

What is the history of this doc ?

Hss there been any unexpected activity on the system ? change management ? patching ? downtime ? intermittent responsiveness of web sessions ?

is it corrupt ? can you fix it ? do you have a backup version ?

Also, try searching for Notes in our knowledge base for articles with this error

Hi thx for the reply. (we ar working BOXI3 SP2)

Now it is the second time this afternoon. The error first apaeared, when saving this report.

After the first time the error appeared, I was able to edit this report again, after few minutes,

Now I have it for the second time. Re-opning this document is not possible

As far as I can see, Noithig specilal has happened. I was develooping this report. (luckely it is only a try out).

(maybe one remark, I do use a rather big "results from anather query in thsi report")

unexpected activity ??

We do have memory problems at the BO-servers, since upgrading tot BOXI3.

We did set change some (java/memory/cache) setting, as an advice from SAP.

I am not able to monitor the servers, this is done by our hosting-partner.

Hi,

there is Note 1455200 - "The document cannot be created or opened. The error code is: INVALID NAME (Error: INF)."

it suggests the problem happens due to characters in the file name:

The document was send to me through he INBOX.

So, yes, orignaly the document did have an : in the name.

Howver when the error started. the name was changed allready.

Maybe the original name did cause the problem in an earlier stage.

Thx.
