Fire-Fighter Authorisation Roles - Naming Convention

Hello,

Currently in the process of creating our FF ID's, along with the roles to be assigned to these ID's. My question relates to the naming convention of the roles for the FF ID's.

Currently we use Y* or Z* for standard users, and the initial plan was to create FF* roles to identify them as fire-firefighter. But is such a naming convention allowed by SAP? I mean during an upgrade is there a possibility these will be deleted since they do not follow the Y* or Z* naming as defined by SAP for customer created roles.

Is there a standard naming convention for FF roles.

You can (& should) use FF* convention for both roles as well IDs.

It will help you to run reports to see if FF roles are assigned only to FF IDs

and you can user naming convention to create variant for the background job so that it looks only for FF user IDs helping you with performance.
