TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

Hello Experts,

Every day there are more than 20 dump error in ST22.

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED ( No more storage space available for extending an internal table)

is always with the programm CL_RSR_MDX_ELEMENT

could you please indicate me if that programm is standard?

do you have please an idea what i must to do to resolve this problem.

Hi,

Insufficient shared memory could be the cause for dump. If this is the case then increasing shared memory size should solve the issue. Please refer to note '1166259' for more information.

Hi Nana,

Please run SAPPFPAR pf=
hostname\sapmnt\global\sys\profile\<instance profile> and adjust the parameters as recommended by the tool. You can avoid most of the memory related issues.

The amount of storage space (in bytes) filled at termination time was:

Roll area...................... 3619232

Extended memory (EM)........... 3004115280

Assigned memory (HEAP)......... 4000058400

Short area..................... " "

Paging area.................... 16384

Maximum address space.......... " "

The Heap and Extended memory look's good configured.

This program are form SAP and you need to read notes about this error,

ty to read notes from Mr.Abhishek Srivastava's post.

Could you please check these two tools @Os level.

sappfpar and memlimits, you will find these excutables in execute /sapmnt/sid/exe.

u can also refer the snote 166551, it will give u some info reg the issue.

Regarding the problem reported by you can you kindly review the following SAP Notes:

1430427 - MDX: Increased memory consumption for calculated members

1151015 - MDX: More than 1000000 values for each axis (CrossJoin)
