How to delete G/L account from Sap?

Hello gurus,

Can any one please suggest me the procedure how to delete the gl account from SAP?

HI

After u creation of the gl account if u want to delt u can if u not posted any thing to this particular gl which u want to delt

otherwise if u created and posted the transaction to this u cant delt.

only block the gl if u dont want to psted then create new one and posted.

If there are any Transactions posted in GL Account you cannot delete the GL Account unless the balnce of the GL Account

Go to OBR2 and delete the GL Account

In FS00 U can Mark the GL Account for deletion

Dear sree.kancharla

Try to use OBR2 . and select check box Delete GL accounts here give your GL . under deletion depth - select check box here only general master data in chart of accounts select test run and execute. later you deselect the test run and execute.
