SCAL transaction

Hi everyone,

In SCAL tranasction we see Factory Date Start for each factory Id. By default it is zero and I see few are having some

values like 90, 127 etc..

How can we use this field ?

What kind of testing we should do for this to ensure this field is working with that number?

SAP F1 search button says the below content but I want to test his feature.

All days in the factory calendar which are defined as working days are

counted from this number. The first working day has the number "Start

number + 1".

dear friend,

the theory:

the days which count as working days are numbered sequentially from 0 (unless otherwise defined) - these numbers represent the factory date. So, the calendar date can be directly accessed via the factory date, e.g. to calculate delivery dates.

the practice:

usually you do not need to set this field

for example, for our manufacturing and goods inwards plants we set 0 and go very well
