Hi
We have an issue with the withdrawly quantity.
When we compare the quantity of post goods issue from R/3 side with the withdrawl quantity.
They are not matching. Is there any diffrent logic to understand this.
Even tried to PGI its not updateing the withdrawl quantity column in forecast tab.
Please let me know your views.
Hi Roshan
I guess your issue can be solved by maintaining the category in APO customizing (Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Supply Network Planning (SNP) --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Category Groups)
Once the delivery is done in R/3, if the correct category is maintained under ATD issue quantities category, then the consumption of delivery / PGI happens against forecast. This can seen in RRP3 view under Forecast tab page.
hope this helps for your further analysis.

Hi Roshan, check the material master for your materials.
Go to Demand tab. Under requirement strategy tab, What is the value for "proposed strategy"?
Do you see any value for consumption mode, and for "Bwd Consumption Pe" & "Fwd Consumption Pe"?
Seems you are missing a strategy or the forward/backward consumption related settings.
Thanks - Pawan.
Hi Roshan,
There can be multiple reasons to this type of lost consumption or withdrawl quantity. Couple of things to check initially :
- Whats the requirement strategy you are using ?
- Check the forward and backward consumption period.
- Is it happening for some GI or for all ? Reason check the order type of deliveries and the reqmt class assigned in ECC
- Are you doing forecast release from monthly to weekly buckets like DP to SNP within months and with reduced forecast.
Hope this should help as a starting point.
Regards
Gaurav
