APO5.0 - PPDS PDS creating Orders w/o operations and dependant requirements

Dear All,

We are facing issues with usage of PPDS PDS 5.0 in APO.

We have ciffed the PPDS PDS with Material components and operations. These are visible in PDS as components and modes The recipe of the FG is such that the material assignments are done phase wise. On running a PPDS heuristics on a sample FG material code, the Order generated doesnu2019t show

- In Operations in the Context view,

- Considers no time from the PDS and

- Doesnu2019t show any dependant demands on the raw materials created either.

All FG and RM Materials, related resources are in active integration models.

If however, we remove the material assignments as phase wise from the Recipe, recif and rerun the PPDS heuristics, now the material requirements get created. However, the operations and hence capacity data is still not considered during creation of an order.

Can you check the log of the planned order creation please? There might be some hints there. It seems that the are errors in the transfer of the PDS. Try to retransfer the PDS again in overwrite mode. If this does not help you need to open a message for support.

Are the orders you're trying to create within the validity interval and withing the lot size interval of the PDS? Is the PDS actually assigned to the orders (in the Order View, /SAPAPO/RRP2, you can see Source field)? Are the Operations/Components already missing in newly created orders or do they get filtered after you save them?
