Hi ALL,
I was going through this thread. It seems that I am also facing the same issue: Date / / is not valid.
I am also using the SAP standard program RVINVB10 to upload the Scheduling Agreement data in SAP (Transaction VA31) & during the uploading we have used the following date fields (VDATU,BSTDK & PRSDT) in the format YYYYMMDD, it is seen we are encountering the following issue: Date / / is not valid.
Any inputs how to get rid of it.

Hi,
The date format suggested by you is dumping the application, the following exception is raised:
Exception condition "DATE_INVALID" raised.

Finally, the problem is soved.
I just the mapping & conversion Rule for Partner Function (PARVW):
PARVW :Partner Function
Rule : Constant
Code: BVBPAKOM-PARVW = 'AG'.
Thanks & Closing the Thread.

Finally, I would like to share this for future reference.
It seems to be a problem with the JIT customizing for the customer. i am trying to do the same.
On manipulating the value of JITCU-CUSTO in the
FUNCTION CALL 'JIT02_SELECT_FROM_JITCU_SB'
we are able to save the SA (Sch. Agr.) successfully in the system. But I see the value of custo_iv (JITCU-CUSTO) as Initial.
can anyone point what customization needs to be done to set its value ??

Hi ALL,
As per the Note: 492376 - Using of RVINVB10 to copy sales document to a R/3 system; it is mentioned there that Initialize numerical fields and date fields which are not used with zeros.
Hence I have initialized both:
...
ANGDT Quotation/Inquiry is valid from
Rule : Constant
Code: BVBAKKOM-ANGDT = '00000000'.
BNDDT Date until which bid/quotation is binding (valid-to date)
Rule : Constant
Code: BVBAKKOM-BNDDT = '00000000'.
I am no more facing the error "date / / is not Valid". It is now solved
However we are facing a new error:
Specify either address number or address handle...Have you faced this error ??

Hi,
The SAP Note 562249 - RVINVB10: Update termination in the statistics says
The Date fields must be transferred to programs RVINVB00 and RVINVB10 in the form YYYYMMDD (YYYY = year, MM = month, DD = day). Example, December 1st, 2002 is transferred as 20021205. I can see the file has all the dates in that format only, then why is error being encountered.
I am now confused, a little help will be appreciated..

Hello,
You mean all the dates coming from the flat (.txt) file should be in the format of DD.MM.YY ( like: 13.12.09)
