Settlement picking data from different RA version

Hi, We have different RA version e.g. A to Z. While settling the RA data the settlemetnt should pick up RA data against version 0 only. Where as in our systems , settlement picks up data from different RA versions and add them to the RA data of version 0 before settling it. I have checked the RA config and it all looks fine to me except that we have posting rules for all RA versions ( since they were copied from version 0 long ago). The RA versions ( except 0) however are marked as "not relvant for settlement".

e.g Version 0 has a 200 WIP and Version A has 300 WIP , the settlement settls 200+300 = 500 WIP to the G/L account from the posting rules.

The posting rules are same for version 0 and A.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

The RA versions which are used for multiple valuations currency are also revelant for settlement. Now if you only RA 0 to be settled. Then go to other RA versions and select Simulate actual W / plan.

Thanking you

Thanks, We need to run RA and planned RA on these versions so simulate w/plan option may not be teh way to go.

the question is when we have " not relevant" for settlement NOT ticked why would settlement pick this up while settling?

thanks

Closed.

It was to do with the Posting rules. Even though the Versions were "Not relevant for settlement", if you have posting rules maintained for those versions, Settlement would pick up the RA data for those versions and settle it along with the RA data for version 0.

Thanks.
