SAP Console problem after Upgrade to EHP 5

Hi experts,

after upgrading our system to ECC 6.05 (enhancement package 5) we have a big problem with our sap-console.

We use the sap-console with gui 6.40 to convert sap-transactions to websites and thoose we use for our mobile-scanners.

But when we start scanner, we get the message "Please use the new SAPGui Version" (or similar) in german its "Bitte verwenden Sie die aktuelle SAPGUI Version).

First I thought, that in SICF a service is not activated, but where can I find a list of services, which has to run?

Or any other ideas?

It also maybe a problem with our kernel, which we changed to 720 PL 114.

Hello Christian,

Please instead use ITS instead of SAPCONSOLE.

With a system higher than 7.00 ITS is mandatory.

Hello,

SAP GUI 6.40 is out of support. Please try to upgrade your SAP GUI to 7.20 Patchlevel 9 which is available at:

https://www.service.sap.com/swdc -> Support Packages and Patches -> A - Z Index -> "G" -> SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS -> SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.20 CORE -> Win32

This should fix your problem!
