HI,

I have stand alone ERP 6.0 stack and stand alone NW 7.3 Java stack. Right now the Java is integrated with ABAP system.

Now I have to install Add-on language like Japanese / Spanish. I came through Service Market Place and find the language pack for both ABAP and Java.

My query is have to install the both Language Pack or Language Pack for ABAP is enough, due to java was integrated with ABAP Server.

- Thxs folks.

Hi,

No, You have to install languages separately on ABAP and Java systems.

Thanks

Sunny ...Thxs for quick reply. I will do as per your advice.

1 more query.

- My java UME was modified to use ABAP datasource. If I am changing the Logon Language in ABAP is not reflect in Java side. Other than that ... what ever the change in UME in ABAP datasource is reflect in Portal.

any idea.?

Hi,

UME is used only for user master record. So, if you will install any language in backend ABAP system then it should not effect any application of your AS Java system.

Thanks

Sunny
