Hi everybody.
We are doing a PO interface between SRM and external system via XI.
When we create a PO in SRM we send it to XI using sproxy (PurchaseOrderRequest_Out message).
But the external system always send back a response.
Are there any way to capture the message and, in case of error in external system, to change the output status from Successfully process to incorrectly process in our PO document?
Thanks and regards.
Raúl Moncada.
Hello Raúl,
What is the message status in XI when you get response from external system ?

HI,
As far as I know If ur creating Po or PR in EBP and posting to some other system through XI than the output message type should be XML, u can chose some other options also like Printer, Fax, e-mail.
If u want to see the message details in XI, u can check in the EBP and XI while using T.code SXMB_MONI.
If it solve ur problem please award the point.

Hi everybody.
We send the PO to external system via XI (XML file)
Our problem is when the external system (ARIBA) can not create de PO, (example data error). So they send us a back message via XI. We need to capture the message, and to change the output status order, in order to send again the XML PO. If we can not change the output status order in our PO and we modify the PO (Data) and send again, the system will send message PurchaseOrderChangeRequest_Out and not PurchaseOrderRequest_Out. For the system we are modifying a PO not creating.
Is there any standard way to capture the XML back message?
Is there any FM in order to change the output status order?
Thanks in advance.
