BI-WDEXT component updating- dependent component error

HI,

I am installing BI component through JSPM. All BI component installed perfectly. But the last one BI-WDEXT gives error that dependent component are missing.

I searched with SMP. But not able to download. Please give me the link where to download.

Please find the error log - dependent component.

Hi,

You need to deploy WDEXTENSIONS.sca file on your system to fulfill the dependency.

That I know. But not able to find the dependent component for BI-WDEXT.

Hello,

SMP --> Software Downloads --> Support Packages and Patches --> Search for Support Packages and Patches --> Search term "WEB DYNPRO EXTENSIONS". Then click of required patch level and download and deploy necessary SCA packages.

Hi Siva Kumar,

in JSPM ...the status as below.

1 sap.com/BI-WDEXT 7.30.5.0 REVISE

2 sap.com/CU-WD4VC-ADPT 7.30.5.0 OK

3 sap.com/WDEXTENSIONS 7.30.5.0 REVISE

After added the "WDEXTENSIONS" the component CU-WD4VC-ADPT status came as OK. but now I am seeing lot of dependable component in the error log.

Hello,

Yes. You have to go through pre-requisites or import condition note available in SMP. In the download window only, you can find that option.
