SRM 7 PPS Activation

Hi All,

we are implementing SRM 7 PPS .

when we are trying to activate PPS Business functions in SFW5

/SAPPSSRM/SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRIES we are getting below error message

*Error message :*

PPS can only be activated in the extended classic scenario

Diagnosis

Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) is only supported in the extended classic scenario. At least in client(s) 355, 356 the extended classic scenario is not activated.

Therefore, the business functions /SAPPSSRM/SRM_PPS and /SAPPSSRM/SRM_CROSS_INDUSTRIES cannot be activated.

Here we are activating PPS in one of our client 360 and I have activated Extended classic scenario in that client.

I am not sure why I am getting error message.

Does any body had this issue while activation.

Pls guide me.

You get the error on client 360 where extended classic is activated??

The prerequite for PPS is activation of extended classic in SRM.

Hi Sam,

Yes, it is giving error in 360 client for which I have activated Extended classic.

I know that PPS activation is client dependent, when I check the check box for business function it is checking for activation of extended classic for other clients.

SRM 7 EHP1 pps activation is client independent. so it is checking for all clients activation of extended classic.
