08 - STOCK TRANSFER INSPECTION LOT

Here i have the one busines requirement one of my product i sent to one plant to another plant means i am following STO process GI for sending plant and GR for Receipt Plant my query is i activated inspection type 01 & 08 in receipt plant i am expecting lot will be create in 01 but i am getting inspection lot 08 what steps i missed in config level can any body know kindly suggest me

Its depends upon the mvt type that you have used for the STO order.!!

mvt type like 311 can create 08 & not 01.

Thank you sujit for your rapid reply but in system we done GR 101 + movement not 311 if any idea kindly elobrate

hi,

when u go for the STO,

u need to create a STO Purchase order. when u r using 301 ({Plant to Plant ) than system check the inspection type assigned in OMJJ along with useful indicators.

WHen u go for this the inspection type will be 08 , if this inspection type activated in your material master than lot will come.

in MM its a two step transfer posting.

In Customization QCC3-->Inspection for Goods mvt->Movement Type/Update Control/Inspection Lot Origin

for Movement Type "101"

Special Stock "E"

&

Movement indicator "B"

Receipt indicator " X"

Inspection lot origin is 08 & not 01.

That is the exact reason why 08 insection lot created.

hi,

once u processed the STO, than there is no doubt against 301 "Plant to plant" Lot of 08 type will be there, but once u Post ur GRN with 101, definitely the lot will be there,

u need to check the Mvt type ur using during ur GRN, means is there special indicator u r using or not.

secondly, STO either from 311 or frm 301, lot of 08 type always be there.

u need to check ur process and posting.
