fetch FTP files

Hi,

Please be gentle with me, I am not a SAP PI specialist. I am just trying to replace a sick guy.

We use SAP PI 7.1 with EHP1.

we have an interface that fetches files from an FTP server once a day at 7am.

The external system did not generate those files on the FTP server before 7am, so, obviously, PI did not catch those files.

How can I "force" this interface to pick-up those files right now?

Eric,

It seems like they already have ATP (Availability Time planning) settings to pick up the file 7:00 AM daily. So you need to do the below steps:

- Go to Communication Channel Monitoring

- Select the comm.channel and Click Start

- Once you see the file got processed, don't forget to change it back to Automatic Control.

- Now you can see the Channel will get stopped automatically.

Hi

Goto communication monitoring and deactivate the "Availability Time Planning" if there is any and stop and start the adapter.
