Following dump is thrown when executing z report.

Overflow during the arithmetical operation (type P) in program "SAPL3HKC".

This dump is thrown at certain parameter values only.

Parameters are as follows:

Date: Start date 01.11.2011 End Date 30.11.2011

Personnel area: Output is displayed for all personnel area, except one.

Only for one personnel area the above dump is thrown. If there is problem in date parameter then dump should be thrown for all personnel area but it is throwing for only one area.

It seems that your Z-program tries to put values in a field that are to big.

Since nobody here knows what your program is doing, what is being called when and how which value is increased too much you're on your own here (or post the code that procudes this error).
