SAP EHP4 installtion

Dear experts,

I am going to install SAP EHP4 with Oralce 11.2 on cluster. I have completed QLT server installation, but PRD server is on cluster.

Help me how to install on cluster. what SAP notes I need to refer for cluster installation??

Hi Kaushik,

Please refer SAP installation guide based on your platform. Look for sections with High Availability.

Map the file systems based on the suggestions mentioned in those sections.

Hi,

below step may help.

1-read all the notes maintained in the installation guide.

2-create filesystem as per cluster requirement.

3- NFS mount.

4 apply the required os kernel parameter maintained in note.

5-set the swap

6-install the required JAVA

7-set the environmental variable's for JAVA

8- generate the solman key.

9-Configuring Network File System

10--run prerequisite check

11-run the sapinst with virtual hostname

12-install ASCS

13-database instance

14-central instance

make soft link for profiles

do it all in node1\

Node2:-

Copy Home directory ( SIDadm) to Node 1 to node 2

Check Services , passwd, and group files in /etc directory

Check the permissions in all directories, which is required for PRD Switchover

please revert if any doubt.
