Hello Experts,
I've created an RFC TCP/IP connection in SM59. When I tried a conenction test I get "program not registered".
I'm trying to connect to our Gentran Windows server. The program ID in the RFC setup is OENYWSIS02.aleserver and this matches the program name in the SAP extension of Gentran. The saprfc.ini file has the parameters:
DEST=GENTRAN >> this is the RFC destination in SM59
TYPE=R
PROGID=OENYWSIS02.alserver
GWHOST=10.16.18.21
GWSERV=sapgw06
RFC_TRACE=0
Now, on the Gentran server, if I run the command:
rfcexec u2013aOENYWSIS02.aleserver u2013ghcgwdd1 u2013xsapgw06
and then do the RFC conenct test, the connection works.
I was told teh parameters in the saprfc.ini file should regsiter the program so I don't have to do the command level execution.
Please help.
Thank you.
