Hi,

Try to use SAPXPG for running External commands. For reference try to access the following link more on SAPXPG.

Hi,

Yes, TCPI/IP RFC connections work this way.

Goto tcode SM59 -> TCP/IP Connections and create new.

You can define where the program resides: application server, explicit host etc.

And then define the path to the exe program.

Gateway option is optional.

Hello Srikishan,

i tried this before, i used the connection T and put in use explicit host.

In the line above i put in the path to the program.

C:\test\test.bat

In the test.bat i execute the cmd commonad.

But if i click on the "test connection button" i get an error and nothing happens on the applikation server.

If i use the option "Start on Front-End-Work station" it work.

But for the moment the SAP GUI and SAP Server are on the same machine.

Hi,

You should set the Option as "START ON APPLICATION Server". We are connecting to our BSI Tax Factory using RFC Call - Start on Application server.

If you are still getting error, please paste the error message.

Thanks,
