"Versioned file system manager was released"

Hi All,

We are on NW 2004s sp8 and have run into a problem. In the Developement Configurations Perspective of NWDS we can't see our transports. We create activities, check them and activate them but when we go to the Transports View it is blank. In the DTR Console view we get this error message

<i> Versioned file system manager was released</i>

This was previously working fine but has just broke.

Hi Luke,

have you checked if the ".log" file in the workspace folder of the NWDS contains a stacktrace that could help to pinpoint the issue?

Thanks guys. I found when I came back to it the next day it had fixed itself. The restart seemed to have fixed it.

Hello,

I ran into the same problem and I did not want to restart the NWDS because that takes some minutes on my machine till I am able to continue working.

The fastest way I could deal with this problem was closing the "Transport View" and opening it again ( Window->Show View->Other...->CMS->Transport View ).

Maybe this hint could save somebody some minutes

Hi,

with the latest NW04 NWDS (which is 2.0.17) it stills gives this error.

To overcome this problem 2 options I found;

1. restart NWDS and re-login to dev. infra.

2. delete and reload development conf.
