again i got struck with another error in the pahse DEPLOY_ONLINE_DEPL of Downtime.

An error has occurred during the execution of the DEPLOY_ONLINE_DEPL phase.

Error while executing DeploymentManager phase with action deploySlot. Check the log files for the specified action. Hi Balaji,

can you share your error details...

in my case.. there was problem is with java is try to communicate with ABAP and it was unable to connect so as per SAP recommended i have activated super admin user as FALSE then restarted it went good

I am not sure this will work for you. better try it above but dont undeploy/deploy any components and dont start JSPM also.

I would suggest to check the respective log file as soon as you encounter any issue. That will help us a lot.

Yes... but i have one doubt if i undeploy component. is it any cause?

after undeploy component can i deploy it again manually? if yes then could you please tell me steps to get files.

right now component at currently deployed software component 'CAF'/'sap.com'/'MAIN_APL70P06_C'/'1000.7.00.6.0.20060221161956''/'0'. and ehpi is upgrading it to Error: Aborted: software component 'CAF'/'sap.com'/'MAIN_NW702P08_C'/'1000.7.02.8.0.20110519132845''/'1':

same like some other components also.

i have raised OSS message but awaiting for their reply.

Hello Venkat,

I am not sure whether it will allow you to use SDM GUI at this point of time to deploy/undeploy packages as EHPI is in progress. But you can give a try.

Please go through the below document to deploy/undeploy through SDM GUI.

Hi,

While EHPi is in progress, it is not recommended to run SDM/JSPM.

Also, you should not undeploy CAF component.

I have referred to SAP Note 1010640, and within the note it is mentioned

Undeploy sap.com/cafUIservicebrowser (e.g. using the SDM) and then retry the upgrade to SP11 or later

Hi,

SAP note 1472520 states as below:

5. Question: Can I run JSPM as a standalone tool during EHPI

execution?

Answer:

CAUTION: Do not run Java Support Package Manager (JSPM) until the

enhancement package installation completes. This is critical for the

successful completion of the installation process.

So, if SAP suggest to do the same then you can proceed.
