Dear All,

As i am configuring solution manager 7.1 SP3,I am updated with the latest support package still facing some issue.

I am not looking for an HTTPS based Authentication. But while Configuring my managed system step in the

GP Step "Configure Automatically",I am finding an error as:"No instances could be loaded from landscape for SID/ABAP"

Although i have not configured HTTPS in my STRUST,still it is asking for the authentication of the same.

First of all Can we skip HTTPS based authentication in any of the steps of the configuration?

If yes, please let me know where i have gone wrong in doing the same.

Do we really need SSL/HTTPS based authentication?

Thanks & Regards

Ajitabh

Hi,

I'm sure you already solved the issue but just in case here is the solution:

In step 6(enter landscape parameters) of the managed system configuration "Instance DVEBMGSxx (ABAP Instance) " landscape object is missing.

Please send the latest SLD data to Solution Manager, resync the lmdb data with report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM and start the managed system configuration again.

About the report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM please check https://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm71_sp05/helpdata/en/f6/a41e0402664451b9c4640ff4513527/content.htm
