Layout with HELVE font

Hi

I used standard SAP Smartform layout for a purchase order print Y640_MMPO_A .

I customised the layout and made plenty of changes to it (ZY640_MMPO_A)

The style and the layout use font HELVE.

In DEV it print previews and prints perfectly.

But now that it is transported to QA and tested ,the print preview and the print is a total mess up .

Someone told me that SAP does not support the font HELVE?????

I changed the style and the smartform to use font Arial ,but the layout in QA is still a mess.

Can someone please help as I spent a lot of time creating this layout and cant start all over again

It seems to be a printer driver issue and must be updated....

Check in SE73 (at QA) see if the font HELVE is available.

When SAP could not find the font that your form or style specify, it will use a default font (I think is Courier)

Please test it with same data on dev same number of lines etc and check sometimes we have defined less pace which works in same cases and fails in same.

Please create exactly same data .It might be the case that data in dev is sufficient for form to hold but in quality data may exceed and that is why it disturbs the space.

Its not data related as the entire form is totally messed and not alligned etc

Please check the following things:

1. Form is same in both cases.

2. You have used proper tabs an all no manuall space in code.

3. I was talking about data because lets say in main window table you have a column material description of length 20 and in dev it is coming on 15-20 character which is ok for current scenario but in quality material description is coming of length 25-30 than will definately affect the form. Please check in this respect as many times length of field causes the problem and you need to adjust the layout if this is the case.
