Adding the WD Java app url as a bookmark/favourite in the web browser

Hi Experts,

We have a WD Java application on which we want to have a provision of putting some button or a link so that when the user clicks on it, the page should be added as a bookmark/favourite in the web browser.

Kindly share the sample code or a blog to refer.

Easiest way is to directly use browser functionality. If you want to achieve this in WD, then you will need to use [javascript|http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/addbook.htm].

Only way to use java script will be by embedding an iframe which i am not sure is supported in your netweaver version.

As far as I understand, we cannot use JS into our webdynpro code.

So, can you please elaborate on how can we acheive the mentioned functionality.
