Business Partner through Systems

Hi Guys

We are currently running on the premises that - Each company code and plant will have its own Business Partners in GTS, so as when the Compliance manager gets a Sanctioned document he can easily find out the proper FTO and Legal unit and take corrective measures by informing the proper people over there.

The issue since having separate business partners will amount to over 5000 Bps how do you guys transport them across the system - not using the Standard RFC program provided (Transport FTO/LU to Downstream systems).

As RFC connections with production is a strict no for us, is there any other option rather than LSMW , or is there anyway to incorporate BUT000 in a transport.

Your views on this will be very helpful.

Thanks for the quick reply, but looks like there is no way to do this aside from Custom coding.

Looks like we have to keep on using the LSMW approach for this.

But the question here is a bit different. FTOs and LUs cannot be replicated as Vendors or Customers via standard RFC transfrer programs.

So for loading FTOs and LUs into production where i cannot reference RFC to a Non prod system .

Is LSMW the only option when it comes to Company codes and Plants in GTS? or is there a way to transport this?

For documents, vendor and Customers all have their own programs to copy from Feeder Prod systems, its just not fair why we don't have the same for Company Codes and Plants.

thanks, now i got your point. Unfortunately there is not standard function which would do this.

Hello Carl,

if you are worried about performance you can initially load BPs during the night in asynchronous scanario but for using synchronous screening you need to use RFC anyway. GTS needs RFC calls for master data and transactional data as well.

GTS supports screening of offline files in xml structure but for this you would need more effort than to convince IT.
