Wildcard filter usage ALV.

Hello,

After a SAP stack upgrade, the filters inside our report don't work as expected. I am not sure if this should be posted to SD but being a SD functional I am posting it here.

E.g. After executing the report if the user tries to filter by Sales Order numbers using the Filter button and then giving the following two single values: 900* (wildcard) and 63737 (A real single value)

It only selects the 900* values and not the single specified value.

Is there a SAP note that can be implemented for this or another solution? I searched and haven't found anything yet.

I could see a OSS Note 781724 - ALV-filter: Wildcard search and conversion exit but this represents the opposite side (for wild card search failure). Check whether this note applies to your version. You can also check below notes,
