REG: Solman_Setup Issue in SOLMAN 7.1

Hi All,

I have installed SolutionManager 7.1 and when performing the solution Manager configuration using the solman_setup, in the phase managed system configuration, we are struck in step user creation, with the error " /SDF/READ_USER_ASSIGNMENT does not exist" so date transfer possible. Aslo in the last step when we click on finish button we are getting the below error.

Checked the service mentioned in the error from sicf tcode, it is active. Could some one help me on this issue.

The URL call http://indblrp2p05.ad.infosys.com:8002/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wdsise_wizard_app was terminated because of an error.

Note

The following error occurred in system SOL : Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.

The error occurred on application server INDBLRP2P05_SOL_02 and in work process 9 .

The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

The ABAP call stack was:

Hi

can you check in st22, what is the abap dump are you getting,

if the dump is OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED, then check and apply the sap note

Thanks for the reply but as we are using Solution Manager 7.1 and on the latest patch, the note didnt help.

Hello Mounika,

I had the same problem with the assignment of the roles in step 7 (Create Users). What I have done was manually generate the roles in transaction PFCG and assign them to the users:

SAPSUPPORT => ZSAP_RCA_SAT_DISP

SMDAGENT_xxx => ZSAP_IS_MONITOR

After succesfull assigning of the users go in managed setup one step back and then go back to step 7 and everything should be refresed to status green. Do not forget User comparison after assigning the roles.

Mounika my suggestion would be to check the step : "Enter System Parameters"..

In the ABAP setup user try to assign a user with max admin roles.The best approach would be to copy Aleremote user & assign it SAP_ALL profile.

Try this & then run the step "Create Users"..

Hi Monika,

You have to do the following on the target/managed system

1. Create copies of the roles to Z ones in PFCG

SAP_RCA_SAT --> ZSAP_RCA_SAT

SAP_IS_MONITOR-->ZSAP_IS_MONITOR

2. Generate the profiles for each role

3. Assign the role to the corresponding user

4. Run that particular step again in the managed system setup, by just selecting each user_name, the screen automatically checks to see if the roles are properly assigned. If you have done the above correctly, the screen should turn to green.
