Workflow for Document

Hi All,

PLease advise me how to configure a workflow for a document.

I would appreciate if I would be explained step by step.

My requirement is that I create a document. It should go in workflow for approval before it can be released and put is use.

Dear Vivek,

As rightly pointed out by Amit, get in touch with workflow consultant. He will create workflow template for your business process. There is no standard workflow template availbale for SAP DMS.

Hi Vivek,

Refer this link for wokflow configuration in SAP DMS environment. It has some good reference.

You may need to involve some workflow consultant to get your task done.

Hi Vivek,

For approval, you have to go for custom workflow only. Check with the workflow consultant of your team for more details.

Using standard workflow you can share the document details with the stakeholders but not the approval process.
