SAP QM Dy Mod Rule (DMR)

Dear Sir,

I have created DMR & assigned at char level in plan. During Result recording, Characterstic in Skipped lot shows gray but before that there is system message "Do you want to set characterstic for processing". If we press "Yes", then result recording is allowed for skip lot too.

Is there any way to avoid this message?

hi,

this is the system genrated mssg, once u set that skipping allowed at characterstic level, than system allow skipping during RR, but once u want to record the result against the charachterstics than system, set the lot status as SKipped and allowed a RR. for avoiding this error mssg u need to use some exit or checck ur sytem config settings.

QESTATOLD Initial Status of Inspection Characteristic

QESTATNEW Final Status of the Inspection Characterist

You have to restrict the status change from 'skip' to 'in process'. The user migth change it and enter results, but during save process the system will complain. Actually the authorization check will happen at this time only
