Component Activation fails with: variant "default" is BROKEN

Hello All,

I am trying to do a simlpe jsp change.

After checking out, changing, and checking in the jsp I try to activate it. I get the following error (full message below):

Activation failed due to component "sap.com/crm/isa/web/b2b" variant "default". The component is BROKEN.

Any help is appreciated.

Solved eventually.

In the end we created a complete new track. Reimported all sca's again. This worked.

Find out why sap.com/crm/isa/web/b2b is broken... Are all required SCs imported into your track?

If you've applied a J2EE patch, also re-import the SAP_JTECH, SAP_BULIT, SAP_J2EE packages into track
