Link between Order & Delivery

Hi All,

Order and delivery should be linked, but it appears the link is broken. Do you have any idea how this can happen ( if it is like this) and how can it be fixed again?

How did you reach the conclusion that the link is broken?

Check whether the delivery document comes in the document flow in the sales order screen.

Also as given earlier, check the VBFA table.

Put the SO no as preceding document and see whether there is any entry in the table with subsequent document type as J.

This will give you the delivery no, if any.

Hi Mahavir,

The link between order and delivery is LIPS - VGBEL

LIPS is delivery item there we can see through which document it has been created,VGBEL is the reference document,that is nothing but sale order.

Dear Mahavir Patil,

As per my understanding of your requirement.........

You can link the sales document and delivery document by the written suggestions in previous thread.

Besides you do use the "LIPS" table here you can give the "VGBEL"(reference document) as input.With that you will get the delivery document number(VBELN).

If you give the (VBELN) delivery document number as a primary key you can get the sales document number(VGBEL). If you have done delivery document with reference to the sales document.
