http watch in NW 7.0

Hi,

Is it possible to run http watch/ trace in the server itself instead of installing http watch and running it from desktop

if it' so..please give the steps for NW 7.0

Hi,

Tracing from the server side does not give the same information than from the web browser (with Httpwatch) but it can still be usefull.

You can activate the trace with transaction SICF from the http services screen with menu --> Edit --> Recorder --> Activate Recording

You can use Wily Introscope Transaction Tracer if you want to trace your JAVA application.

You can use RCA Workcenter --> E2E trace with Solution manager for this (in any case data will be collected with wily Introscope). Regards.

http watch can only be installed at client end because actual trace analysis should be starting from client end request.
