Don't want to update shelf life expiration date on existing quants

Hello,

in WM, we are managing materials with batches and shelf life. Picking strategy is "H" (picking according soonest shelf life).

Problem I have is that standard SAP updates shelf life expiration date on existing quants by doing MIGO or MSC3N on a batch number already created before.

My question is : do you know something who can avoid updating those old quants ?

Hi,

If you have activated the addition to stock at the storage type and material level then system always replaces the new goods receipt date with the GR date of the oldest quant. Please remove the addition to stock indicator at both the levels if u want to maintain the correct GR date for every quant.

Thank you for your reply, but my problem is not on GR date but on Shelf Life Expiration date linked to a quant (LQUA-VFDAT).
