How to attach Catalog type 1 and 3 to the MIC?

Hi Experts,

Please guide , how can we attach catalog type 1 and 3 to the Master inspection characteristic? I have tried to add Catalog type a number of Times while creating MIC, but it shows Warning message: you can not attache Catalog type 1 and 3 . Moreover, it does not attach any other also...

Kindly help...

Dear Shiva,

You can not assign catalog type 3 while creating MIC,

it will be assigned for an inspection type in Configuration.

and, for catalog "1", While creating Qualitative MIC click on "Catalogs" tab.

Hi Amol,

yes, i was able to attach the Catalog 1 to the MIC..... thanks a lot for that sir.

But i could not get the solution for Attaching Catalog 3 .....

hi,

catalog-1 defines the characterstic attributes so whenever u create the MIC , than u may confirm that u ticked on Qualitative MIC indicator. once u assigned this system automatically ask u for the Catalog of type "1".

U assigned it .

Secondly , catalog -3 defines the Usage decision.

System not allow u to assign this catalog type against MIC bcoz it will not defines the characterstics attributes.

Attachment of catalog typ -3 is not possible for MIC's .

as i said that it is not charachterstics attributive type.

IN MIC

it should be qualitative char

activate char attribute in MIC.

CLICK ON catalog, sysyten will allow u to assign
