Hi
Annyone who can explain me the difference between "calender days" and "24-hour interval" in SPRO menu "define calculation of per diems"
Examples would be much appreciated.
Best Regards
Morten Kristensen
Hi,
calendar days count meals per day.
example: trip 01.12.2011 to 03.12.2011
meals per day = $ 10
then,
it means you got meals per diem = 3 X $10
if you use 24hours interval,
example trip 01.12.2011 time 10:00AM to 02.12.2011 10:00AM
meals per day = $ 10
then you only get 1 x $10.
when it reach 24hours then they count it as 1
hope it helps

Hi,
appending above..
Calender days :
Trip per dime will be calculated into 3 lines..
For Example : Trip starts from 07-Dec-2011 11:00 till 17-Dec-2011 23 :00
Firstly, current day remaining time per diem 11:00 till 00:00 (13 Hours)
Secondly, number of complete working days .. 9 Days (08-Dec-2011 till 17 Dec-2011)
Third, Last day remaining hours 23 hours (00:00 till 23:00)
So Per dime shall be calculated for 13Hours + 9 Days + 23 Hours ( As per t706v)
24 hours interval :
Trip per dime will be calculated into 2 lines..
For Example : Trip starts from 07-Dec-2011 11:00 till 17-Dec-2011 23 :00
Firstly, Calculate all days starting form 11:00 with 24 hours interval 10 Days (07-Dec-2011 11:00 till 17-Dec-2011 11:00 )
Third, Last day remaining hours 12 hours (11:00 till 23:00)
So Per dime shall be calculated for 10 Days + 12 Hours ( As per t706v)
I hope it would serve your problem..

Muhammad Umer
