Sales area is changed while the order is created

Hi,

I have a below issue,

For the customer 1234 it is created for the sales area (1000/10/00),but when the sales order is created it is saying Customer is not defined for the sales area 1000/20/00, but the common distribution channels are maintained individully for both 1000/10 and 1000/20.

If i create the Customer for both 1000/10 and 1000/20, when the sales order is created with the sales area (1000/10/00) it is getting changed to 1000/20/00.

Pls suggest the reason for this.

Hi,

check whether you hsve combined sales org, Distr ch, div propperly.

Go to Spro-S&D-Sales-sales doc header-assign sales area to sales doc type

Dear soorya,

Please let me know have you done the required configuration in "OVAZ" if not combine the sales organizations,distribution channels and divisions.

create the sales order under the sales area in which the customer has been created.

Hi,

In VA01 screen just give your sales document type Ex: OR (Don't give any sales area data),once enter into the sale order screen give the sold to party name,then system will show's in pop up the possible sales areas for the customer,there you select through which sales area you want to generate the sale order.

Check and revert.
