Hi,

I am facing the backup issue. Kindly find the issue.

Still yesterday Backup was running fine. We have not done any changes in the permission level. No patches was not installed.

Kindly check and suggest me.

Hi,

As per logs, it looks like the permission issue with oracle binaries. Please check SAP note 583861 and 546006.

Hi,

Thanks for reply.

As per the SAP note # 583861 file permission & group details are same. System was having sufficied space for SAPBackup folder & SAPcheck.

Hi Prasad,

1) To what directory is that channel pointing to?

2) If backup is done on tape, is the tape already initialized ?
