MIC -Classs characterstcs

is it necessary to mention class characteristics during MIC creation

if i did not enter this field how does it effects further ,& where effects takes place

When you have requirement like transferring the results from MIC to batch after result recording or requirement to transfer variant config settings to mic ,then you can, use the class char with MIC.

When you have simple scenario like only do result recording then you need not to use the char char in MIC.

It is totally based on ur requirement, u need to create the class characterstics and assigned to MIC, generally we use this when we need to inspect with batch, material specification etc.

so in ur case if it not required than it have no effect if u keep it blank.
