Is there a download to create a SAP intance for training with?

Could you please elaborate your query ?

As far as I know, you can download 'NetWear trial versions' from SDN itself. You can download 'SAP IDES' from SAP Marketplace website. You can install standard ECC as well, for training purpose. It depends what kind of training you need to provide and other scenarios.

For latter two, you need to be SAP customer (In other words, these are licensed softwares).

I'm a SAP training Manager as as such have a good overview of SAP, I'd like to get more depth in a couple of modules, so need a training client.

A VM would be ideal so I could restore.

Also happy to buy license if required.

In that case, you please go with 'SAP IDES', I agree you can try it on VM.

IDES is not free. you must be a SAP customer to install this.

a free option is Netweaver trial versions... but it does not have functionnality such as FI, CO, MM,SD.
