Free goods structure not appearing while doing item proposal

Free goods assigment have been done for a material with respect to customer/sales or/dist channel.During ordinary sales order creation va01,for the line item b-7000 free goods trigger for qty of 10.But when a item proposal is created & called in the order.Free goods doesn't trigger(even the qty is same 10).

what adjustment have to be done for the free goods to trigger.

In this case OR document type Category is u201CCu201D.

Check OSS Note 168821 - Free goods are not determined applies to your SAP version.

Hi Pradeep,

Standard SAP allows Free goods for the documents which category is "C".

For Item Proposal the Document type is "D". So it cant determine Free goods.

No i don think ur answer seems to be right,because item proposal is generally done for customers who take products repeatedly,probably same quantities..so if the document category plays a role in it means the entire purpose of item proposal will be nearly waste.As said item propasal & order (or) category is different so Free goods structure wont explode.I made some changed with document category determination as below.

ORNORMFREE+TAN=TANN.
