Send Mail to Change Manager, strange behavior.

Hi all.

Im trying to create mail-notification .

When SDCR is created i need automatically send email to Change Manager.

in action i choose

Partner-dependent Partner Function: SDCR0002 ( change manager )

.....

After creating SDCR no action is triggered and no action is shown in action tab of SDCR

BUT!!!!!!!!

IF i go back to action and change Partner Function to :00000001 Sold-To Party

and then create SDCR! Action is shown in action tab and its green everything works fine!!!

Did anyone ever saw this? or solved it ?

You're not using the same Business Partner (BP) numbers are you?

For example, the Requestor isn't the same person as the Approver.

In our testing I found out the same BP wouldn't result in an email...which is actually a good thing. If the BP numbers were different then the email would send.

Also, what conditions have you put against this action? Have you just put in a schedule condition for it to activate on pending approval?

Yesss Agent 009 the reason was same BP for Sold-to-party and Change Manager.

Chenged CM's BP and action worked!!! Thank u very much Agent 009 .

Hi,

In addition to above

the email is triggered the value is filled i.e at the time of email action triggered the value of BP shoud be there in the ticket field.

normally sold to party is filled automatically by ibase etc or partner sequence so email gets triggered but

for change manager value must be filled and saved and then only the action should be executed for email .
